New Zealand Trip (Day 4)

Day 4 [West Coast - Queenstown]

Today, we took our long journey from West Coast to Queenstown.

We took a 1 hour and 30 minute bus ride to Haast Pass Visitor Centre for a toilet break before heading to Haast Pass.

The Mountains

Then, we passed Mount Aspiring Park en route to have our lunch at Makarora Country Cafe. At the cafe, they had the popular New Zealand special ice cream flavor, Hokey Pokey.

After lunch, we left the cafe to head to lake Wanaka and lake Haewa. The views from the lakes were mesmerizing, it looks as if they were fake.

Then, we headed to Mrs. Jones Fruit Orchard. They sell a lot of different fruits either fresh or dried. They also sell fruits in packs of 1 to 2 kg and they will package them nicely for you to bring home as check in baggage.

After placing our orders, we left to Kawarau Bridge Bungy Lookout to see people bungy jump. There are also a lot of other activities like Zip-lining and the Drop.

Then, we left to Arrow Town, an old mining town. It is quite photogenic for a small town, from the river out back to the shops in the town. It has an olden english feel to the town.

After the photo shoots, we took the bus to Queenstown for our dinner.

We reached our hotel and unloaded our luggage before we left the hotel and went to Lakeside Chinese Seafood Restaurant for our Abalone Lobster Salmon Seafood dinner.

Then, we went back to our hotel after shopping and slept.
